Thought a little bit about what to reply to this one. Forgive any preachyness, I'm trying to clear up a cross-cultural misunderstanding that has in the past lead to much damage.
If one realizes that their may exist more advanced and invisible beings all around us, (as opposed to militant atheists who claim there are no such beings or no evidence for them) then it follows that there may be *One* above and more powerful than all of them.
This ONE, it follows, may also be the source and origin of all. Some of the lesser creatures have tried to pass themselves off as this being, as you have pointed out a few times.
That is to say; beyond what we cannot see, and then past what cannot be seen by the beings *we* cannot see, is one creator God.
This is the essential and unique claim of Islam and what "AlLah" means by the way. "The God".
Strong monotheism.
It's not:
-the foreign clothes
-the Sharia law
-honor killings
-female genital mutilation
Despite the 20+ year propaganda against it in the west, all a Muslim is, is someone who believes in One creator being. (Your description of the universal Soul, in the original and lost bhuddist sense fits this by the way.)
Islam does not see itself as an Abrahamic religion, in the sense Jews and Christians use it.
Abraham was just one of many humans who preached strong monothesism in the line of humans since Adam, from the Muslim perspective.
Calling Islam an Abrahamic religion is to lump it's origin in with the Jews, hence I believe the term is one of their word spells.
The west sees Islam as growing out of Judaism and Christianity as a syncretic religion by a desert warlord. Islam sees itself and Muhammad as preserving the thousand upon thousand year struggle for the strong monotheistic claim.
Why though ? Why is this struggle important ?
Because humanity forgets. It falls into very familiar patterns and styles of mysticism, superstition and satanic witchcraft once it leaves strong monotheism, and its simplicity.
I have never seen you encourage people to do magic. Your wizard thing is more in the sense of ancient magii, of learning, reading and being "wise" rather than active conjuring or invoking spirits on your or others behalf. You actually encourage people to stay away from that stuff and those beings agendas.
Polytheism, Trinity, Demigods, Magic, feminism, Satanic atheism, all these things and more are ancient and repeated traps set by these beings that cater to our human weaknesses and desires. Societies fall into them over and over.
Eventually one dude comes along and reminds the society at the time about what they forgot, that they don't need to spend all this money on religion, do child blood sacrifices, pay a priest to contact God. The power structure of that time hate this dude and persecute him, or try to corrupt his teaching in some way.
Speaking aboutthe destroyed ancient ruins and megaliths found throughout the world the Quran says:
>Have they not travelled throughout the land to see what was the end of those ˹destroyed˺ before them? They were far superior in might; they cultivated the land and developed it more than these ˹Meccans˺ ever have. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs. Allah would have never wronged them, but it was they who wronged themselves.
Islam "the religion", the sharia, the clothing, the halal food, are aides in focusing the individual and community away from lies and tricks by these beings and their human agents. For example, the complete prohibition of Usury. (Whereas the Jews will deal in usury with non-jews)
It is called a mercy from Allah because when it came again, society at the time was steeped once again in all sorts of wasteful and disgusting practices that demons like to see humans do.
Islam balances patriarchy, provides for the needs of the woman, the man and the children, extended family, meeting their biological and financial needs, spiritual, communnal. A messy human perfection.
Private property, freedom of thought, speech, debate, true liberality and balanced freedoms including of religion, are the pre-modern inheritance of the Islamic civilization, long before the alleged "enlightenment" of Europeans and their bombs.
It is an invitation and inheritance open to all.
