The decision to establish a Congressional task force to investigate the attempted assassination of President Trump is a crucial first step. 

However, given that Congress will soon be on recess until September 9th, it is essential that @SpeakerJohnson appoints a Chairman and members to this task force in the coming days so they can remain committed and diligent during this period.

The American public is entitled to learn the truth about the July 13th assassination attempt of President Trump, and therefore, the committee's work should not be delayed.
