I moved Twitter off my mobile home screen.
I set a 10 minute daily timer on iOS.

I never let the Twitter algorithm tell me what to look at next. 
I keep it around for when my friends send me links to read.

 Unless those articles take longe than 10 min. Then you gotta just guess the ending. 

 If it’s a long article I often tap out to safari 

 You could also just use the website for that...
