that whole argument that money is only spent because it decays is patent, ahistorical bullshit because it was only 50 years ago that money literally was gold, which doesn't age, and doesn't oxidise the inflationary narrative was concocted 150 years ago and flies in the face of thousands of years of history

Still a very low inflation. Our minimum around here is 4%... Closer to 5 usually.
I totally hear you! And that's my point...it's too high. I'm not sure how we got used to any number above 0 as "okay" inflation. Any percent above 0 is that much of your income being reduced yearly. Getting that 2% annual income boost is a farce...we didn't gain anything. And if inflation is above 2% (which it is), we lost money.

People are fucking stupid for believing that we need inflation, for some reason that we'll just stop buying things. We still need to eat, we want to go on that vacation, we need to fuel up our cars with gas, the economy would go on as normal and yes people would spend less because they're no longer being punished for saving money. This will never happen with fiat it will only happen with bitcoin something that the central bankers cannot inflate away and something that the government cannot print more of. Fuck them, they can go to hell. Buy bitcoin save yourself from inflation theft.
