US based Wells Fargo bank fires several employees for faking work using keyboard simulation

Wells Fargo & Co recently terminated more than a dozen employees in its wealth and investment management division after it was discovered that the employees had faked their work activities using keyboard simulation. The terminations occurred last month and it remains unclear if these employees were found guilty of keyboard simulation while working from home. Wells Fargo implemented a hybrid flexible model with specific office attendance policies and is gradually requiring staff to be in the office at least three days a week.
