It's osb sub floor. Haven't put the finished floor in yet.
Ah, going to finish with hardwood to match?
No, it's decent waterproof vinyl plank flooring. It's been so long but I think I was taking weight into consideration. The walls are 3/8 plywood and the counter tops are thin solid surface. So I think I was thinking I could save weight on the floor by using vinyl instead of wood.
That's interesting. I would not have thought it would make a big difference.
 It's a few hundred pounds.
More like only 100lbs doing the math again. It must have been the combination of lighter weight and thinner profile for more headroom in the kitchen. Plus it was cheaper too. I've had the floor in boxes for several years waiting to install. Hard to remember the reasons why I made the choices I did thinking back.
