No. Pro sports are just part of the bread and circuses meant to keep people entertained and asleep. Yeah, it's titular. Yeah, there's some community and comraderie, but... For what purpose? Unless it's a family member or personal friend, I'm just not interested in all of it.
I only care about my local college team. And I only care for the community and comraderie. If I couldn't go to tailgates or parties with friends and family, I wouldn't care.
That's reasonable and at least you are enjoying IRL connections with people.
We do our best to inspire the next generations to stay fit and
healthy, collaborate with the local community, and uplift nearby small
businesses. Embracing Nostr aligns with our vision to improve
interactions not just with our fans, but with the entire community. Hope
we'll help you see the good side of professional sports.
That's good. I appreciate those goals. I've just never cared much about pro sports. It's fine for others, and good that such fine athletes can make a living doing something they are good at, but it's just completely alien to me to want to spend so much of my limited bandwidth on sports.
I do commend your organization for exploring nostr this early. Being the first to do so puts you in a very good place. May your efforts and thinking always be pushing you forward!
