 @91f99226 @768e9cf3 Unfortunately, minimum wage is just not enough in most cases for even a single person to live on (pay bills, have an apartment, used car, etc.)  Last time I was on minimum wage was in the 90's and even then, I was working 2 or 3 jobs at the time.  It hasn't matched up with inflation from the 80's thru now.

So abolish it and replace it with what?

Minimum wage is more in some Cantons than average lowest quartile in others. The level is obviously NOT the problem with the very concept.
