The game, which is currently in beta, is a blockchain-based football MMO that offers a sports simulation experience similar to the Football Manager series. Players can take on various roles such as coaching a team or representing a player. Square-Enix's investment of $3.1 million in Soccerverse demonstrates their enthusiasm for the project and their belief in its innovative use of blockchain technology in the genre of football management games
