If your assignment can be made by an AI, your course is worthless.

Man do I remember these.. Chegg was a life saver 😅
 Truth.
I graduated long before AI but I think the best way to use AI is to generate an outline, and do cursory research, and to proofread what you write
True. So random tests about the assignment? Return of the cold calls?
I'm currently learning Python through a YouTube course, and I find ChatGPT incredibly powerful for learning to code.
They just make you come into a room and write stuff on paper, while they watch, here.
Had to write simple C and Java programs, on paper. Multiple sheets long, recursive, floating point arithmetic, memory allocation, etc.

AI can do all of it, but you can't proof, prompt, or edit AI results effectively, unless you understand what just happened and what the expected result should roughly look like.

BTW, you can always tell who the ChatGPT people are, in courses, as they demonstrate their code, very confidently, and look surprised when or doesn't build, and can't explain why it doesn't build. I'm starting to wonder, if someone isn't purposefully feeding bad code to the models, for typical course material. Sometimes three or for would get up, with the same error. 🤦🏻‍♀️
If your curriculum can be written by an AI then you may as well be self learning.
 really?
No, it says here I get 3 credits. 😂
 At higher education, maybe.
