Please read again the previous text. I said it is the same as USDT is to USD. We can argue that it is better since there is a digital guarantee of a contract but it is not bitcoin, same as USDT is not really an USD. They are both a representation or "promise" to something in a paired coin.
Right and I told you it isn't the same at all. Because its not. It isn't a "digital guarentee of contract," It's Bitcoin Multi-Sig and hashed time locked contracts. These are on mainchain. Bitcoin. either party in a LN channel can close at any time without cooperation from anybody else. you're literally saying multisig isnt bitcoin.
And I'm reading Monkey NFT on top of a blockchain with Multisig. That isn't bitcoin, that is just some parasite thing on top of it.
show your work or GTFO
What work would that be? Search engines should still be working on that iPhone of yours, but here is some monkey business on top of bitcoin: https://cointelegraph.com/news/onchainmonkey-nft-collection-migrate-ethereum-to-bitcoin Has Multisig, so I guess according to your definition that is also bitcoin now.
making stupid comparisons is just lazy also let's see your Obtainium list homie https://v.nostr.build/hsbaVwEbCdf87Ogj.mp4
Well, well. I will take back my claim that you are an iPhone user. I don't use obtainium so can't really show you much, but appreciate genuinely the tip. Looks great and having fun with it: https://github.com/ImranR98/Obtainium?tab=readme-ov-file For those interested, plenty of good apps listed here: https://apps.obtainium.imranr.dev/ Please don't be too upset at me, I won't be provoking any further. My comments are mostly for my own idea of fun, not to be mean nor ill-intended towards you.
it's time to pick on the Monero Maxis now. There's plenty to criticize about LN, But that doesn't mean it's okay to just spout random bullshit about it. There is no separate token issued on LN. A bitcoin multisig transaction is still bitcoin. nostr:nevent1qqsw9sz5j32w50u84yvgdlhwd5d3zpmf9trsgcqtcjgc5vdhs97asscpr4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmp0qgst55g4cdaslyg72v8dd3y8ej7ekuma5vlafwy2navsscph3sr27csrqsqqqqqpnzn6df
Calling me a monero maxi would be wrong when there are so many good crypto techs out there. Just a casual technology enjoyer. This ain't a religion. Stuff parasiting other chains has existed for quite a while. Calling it lightning or USDT doesn't make it magically be something else.
Yeah, and unfortunately they are talking lots of other nonsense recently. nostr:note1prns6umtvh0fnndcrwp5ury0ejpwllsl9ve56rj5h588tdxkcwcs7hfeua
Don't even know why bother listening to podcasts on Monero in the first place. It just works without dramas, kind of hard to find new material every week. In either case they could be using their time for more productive stuff. For example, this week I was trying to compile XMRig to WASM and then run from a browser. Turns out it doesn't compile and even if it would, wouldn't also connect to the internet. I imagine this would be the kind of stuff more relevant with the community and test out new things even if stupid.
🤣 Doug is NOT a good face for the Monero community or maybe he's great because hes "normie accessible " i don't know but yeah i haven't been able to listen to his pod for a year now don't even subscribe anymore nostr:nprofile1qqsqxf440czzuzyjswddcumcg6yafpdll55958wvl6w94kk6g7dp6nqprdmhxue69uhkummnw3ezuur0wf6x2mt0dejhymewvdhk6qg4waehxw309ahx7um5wgh8smtj9eex7cmtwvq35amnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwwd5xjarxdaexxefwdahx2tcr36s2t has a good one
my show is about privacy coins in general, so it will never focus just on XMR, I will always be looking at new privacy projects and related topics
