@PABLOF7z should we also leverage the current kind 0+3 as a (loose) WoT for NIP-89? The reason I'm asking because its probably an additional barrier/complexity for apps to adopt the (exact) WoT version (31989+31990) Applications usually already have kind 0 profiles, we can put the handler tags in there instead of in kind 31990 (Handler information). People also already follow application profiles, this would replace kind 31989 (Recommendation event). Compare right now stemstr recommended by (exact): https://nostur.com/screenshots/stemstr-exact-wot.png vs Stemstr followed by (loose): https://nostur.com/screenshots/stemstr-loose-wot.png cc: @brugeman @hodlbod (don't know who else has integrated NIP-89)
Maybe we could use kind-3 for wot only and not change anything else? The idea was that apps would add themselves to 31989 of users and thus many users would have them populated, until then kind-3 could work to show how trustworthy the app is? You could also merge lists from kind-3 and kind-31989 to cover apps that don't have app profiles.
Coracle pulls kind 31990s from people you follow. So sort of both. But people don't often publish 31990s, so there aren't a lot of recs. Are you saying that there are lots of kind 3's pointing to profiles that have published kind 31989s? I guess that makes sense, but it sort of confuses people who follow me with people who recommend Coracle, so I would go with explicit only in this case.
