Idk who needs to hear this but chronic homelessness is rarely due to poverty.
mental illness must rank up there in the top reasons with drug addiction in close proximity
This!
The city of Phoenix evicted the homeless tent community. It’s sad as I know that many of them need mental health services. Breaks my heart when I see homeless veterans.
I just tried visiting this park steps away from new and under construction apartment buildings in Phoenix and it was full of homeless. They turn their faces away as if in shame. https://m.primal.net/JCIk.jpg
Margaret T Hance. Great park for events.
Agreed 👍
Homelessness is not caused by poverty Homelessness is caused by degenerate behavior from the said individual
I’ve been seeing a lot of people online this week say the primary cause is the cost of housing and it’s driving me mad. All you have to do is drive past one homeless encampment to know that’s just complete bullshit.
Agree. I am very passionate about this topic as I was almost homeless myself at one point. Ive done quite a bit of volunteer work over my life to try and help these people. Ive watched countless documentaries on this subject and this was one of the best Ive seen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jt_6PBnCJE
I would go so far as to say it’s never due to poverty.
Should you not be employing the new woke terminology? Unhousedness😂😂 sounds very Shakespearean
