Japan has an app called PayPay. It’s super popular and accepted almost everywhere now. I touched briefly on how this company grew by doing a lot of manual legwork by literally going to businesses and talking to them. Anyway … when you make a payment in the app, it audibly says “Pay Pay” in an excited tone. I find it fascinating that they chose this experience. It’s as if they wanted people nearby to hear the brand name while people are paying. Annoying or genius? You be the judge.
The question now is which noise should BTCPay terminals audibly make upon payment? 🤔🤔
Cashu wallets need to announce "Bust a Nut!"
It's annoying and genius. Some users will hate it but might have started using the app because they heard it work from total strangers before.
Annoying or genius? Yes!
