@680dad18 I will think about that. There were good things about Debian 8 w/out systemD and with ALSA and a custom kernel, and still are. At least you aren't forced to register to use pulseaudio.
@369f21f8 There are many ex-debian distros without systemd... but I am from the slackware root and I dont know them, search in distrowatch.com . Now, ALSA is good, but you can use pipewire, it has compatibility with pulseaudio and jack and outputs to ALSA
