 It's just better to hire someone with a stump grinder. Plus you get a lot of mulch out of it you can use to fill in the hole.

I need to pull down two broken trees this weekend and drag a hen house about 50 feet to a new position. I'll probably do it with the chickens in it.  They like high adventure.
