And make sure you have direct peg in enabled in settings. 👍 

 Direct pegin doesn't seem to be an option in my version (android) 😐

Since Aqua came out I've been using it to build up to reasonable UTXO sizes before sending to cold storage, but to do it in one hop on chain I was actually using blockstream green + sideswap on a PC over a VPN and THEN sending to Aqua on liquid. This will be a big improvement 🔥 

 It's not used super often but that wouldn't affect in terms of compatibility with other people's wallets. It's basically a medium to get you able to accept lightning transactions without having to set up channels, and without relying on a single point of failure for custody.

In the background there are swaps done from lightning to liquid, making it all seamless. You can send to/receive from anyone with a lightning wallet, but in your wallet you hold Liquid BTC. 

 I mostly use it to stack with low tx fee until I have a the amount I want to send to my cold storage. So I don't accumulate lot of small UTXO from DCA.

Been using AQUA wallet to with from exchange via Lightning directly to Liquid so I don't have to make the swap myself later.

Before it was using Liquid to prepare the opening of "sizables" lightnings channels.

Because Coinjoin are expensive (and almost illegal...) do you consider this "buying path" to be somewhat "private" ? : 

Buy (on CEX) -> withdraw via Lightning ->  swap to Liquid (viva AQUA wallet !! ) -> send to Sideswap -> Peg-out to Cold Storage (using a new adress)

Giving that Lightning transfer may be hard to track, and that Liquid transaction are (in theory?) "anonymus" (blinded), I assume this is kinda equivalent to a coinjoin to "mix you trail" from CEX to cold storage.
