Most people who start from a position of hater, which is a very good trait (you should question everything), after they put in time to study it they become proponents. 
Therefore bitcoin fixes this. 
If they don't, that means they didn't study it long enough, but fear not, they'll have another opportunity every 4 years when it keeps showing up on their radar and not dieing after each bear market.
