 Some want it. Good to have options. But i actively do everything I can to limit the number of notifications from ANY app on my phone. Very few people are able to ping me with a notification from anywhere lol 

 I agree and tend to try the same even if I'm sometimes weak and let a group ping me too much.

 I get you, my notifications are turned off for almost everything. 😅
I only have a few people in particular that I have notifications turned on for, but I still say if it's something you need a quick response to, give me a call. 

One of the things I find annoying here is that on Primal, for example, I see that someone responded to a note, and on Damus it doesn't even show up. But even so, I don't care about notifications. 😅

I think the notification app I would like is a web push site that can push notify anyone on any device that there is new content in a Nostr feed 

 When I’m ready to use nostr, I open an app and see relevant notifications in the app. For me, that’s as far as I want it to go. Some clients are adding push notifications, and this morning I saw someone post about an app dedicated to nostr push notifications. Good to have options I guess, but for me nostr has been a place to get away from the noise of other social media. I don’t want to start adding that noise back in. 

 Yeah, no doubt. I want to direct people who are not on Nostr who like my content to be notified when I post (maybe 2x a day). The notification will open the browser and show the note page on primal.net or wherever. This directs people I share on messages or signal to my feeds on Nostr

 I hate push notifications in general. I check my apps like I do my mail, at my discretion.

 I literally can't get mine to work at all. The only time I know I have any notification is when I get a DM from Zeus about a Zap I received. Can't get Ntfy to work at all.
