Alfie Meadows was peacefully protesting and came close to loosing his life after a savage baton attack to the head by an unidentified member of the Met police in 2010. 

There seems to be a pattern this week from the Met - admit liability, pay up, make an apology…and then move on.

But have they learnt any lessons and are they any more accountable?
