I mean I wouldn't let my kid do that. Once they are adults it's none of my business even if I strongly disagree with their choices. Not my kid not my problem.

Wokists love to throw around the word Draconian, but Chinese foot binding was draconian. It's mutilation of little girls' feet against their will. Maybe it would have been better to convince the girls that they'd be better off with mutilated feet before mutilating their feet, so you could feel morally ok with doing it. Then maybe it would have been a little less draconian, and more like gender affirmation 🏳️⚧️
