The Villain Arc must be overcome 

 You can respect the design behind a missle while hating how it's used. If only we could fill them with confetti.  

 Quite often they become villains through their attempt to do good or great things. 

 Or powerful men are used by a greater force to villainous things. 

 Tbh there are no exceptions unfortunately. At a certain point power corrupts every human being. Sadge.

 Humans in general cannot gracefully and properly handle power 

 This is why there are so many legends of great kings that didn't want to be king... David, Arthur, that one guy in Afghanistan, etc. 

 The ring of power corrupts.  

 Not sure why you keep referring "villain" .. based on which actions?
Also, "Evil preaches tolerance, .." and seems to be totally okay with harassment and abuse. It seems like you abused power when you thought you had it, and now that it turns out it's based on lies and deception, you don't want to accept the consequences?
