The country's Supreme Court “torn up” the Constitution, Brazilian citizens are being silenced on social media, persecuted and arrested, without a crime defined by law, and without due legal process. An American journalist made a report on Twitter “Twitter Files Brazil” and Elon Musk bought the war, now Twitter could be banned in Brazil.
So they are just ignoring the countries founding document? So it's a coup then?
Virtually! The current president was imprisoned for corruption, the Supreme Court performed a judicial juggling act and erased the conviction of the prisoner, who was tried in two instances and convicted, then they brought him to the elections, and the ballot boxes are only for electronic voting, there is no version printed, so you can imagine the result! The ex-convict “won” the elections and today governs alongside the supreme court.
