Who remembers what happened in 2008? https://i.nostr.build/8YsfejREpsUZCMow.jpg
Saylor is doing the right strategy. Taking advantage of the high p/e multiples in tradfi markets, but he needs to be cognizant of his average BTC purchase price. If it gets to high and BTC ends up having a disappointing bull or deep bear then he might have trouble servicing debt. I think he will be fine though
My view is like Enron or the 2008 banks, he will do extremely well until he doesn’t. Also being a company as opposed to a self sovereign individual, he has shareholders, the stock market and fellow directors that he is beholden to. Companies are expected to make quarterly profits, constant growth and consistent shareholder returns year on year. This is not possible with Bitcoin and so will fail at some point in a very spectacular way. But until he fails, he will be extremely successful.
what happened? i was 1 yo back then.
All the banks went bankrupt
thanks.
