No one is on track for anything in show biz. Have friends in it and seen everyone shift, scramble, make huge mistakes and one or two lucky breaks.

 That's very true! Perhaps someday I'll just fall into it. I hear catering on movie sets is superior. 

 I’ve cadged a few meals from B movies. Good sandwiches.
