regardless of intention, I think the point being made about what you said is moot. 1) nostr is freedom tech that permits FREEDOM OF SPEECH. especially that which is unsavory. 2) thinking of nostr as a community in and of itself is like having a "community about community", which isn't bad, but imo not what nostr is exactly. it's similar to the idea of a "Bitcoin community" extrapolated out into the future is a community of people who care about money, (assuming the network effect happens) is a bizarre interest. nostr is a communications protocol; on top of communications communities are formed: n/gaming being an example. but nostr itself is NOT the community. I'm sure that's how it's perceived today because of how it feels using nostr, but nostr is just communication infrastructure.

I do 99% of the time. Every now and again just want to show it. We’re so very small and this can hinder growth. I’d like for nostr to be taken seriously as a protocol and tool.
Nostr is for everyone, anyone can use a key pair for no costs. You are in control of your community on here. Trolls are gonna troll, it’s the internet. But we can find the people that resonate with us. Art,plants,permaculture,technology, and news are the things I search out and follow. The mean fucks are going to stay that way and distance themselves from real connections. I’m gonna use cornychat and talk to real people and have honest discussions, have fun, paint pictures and sometimes debate.
