My transit app has a silly competition where you compete for bus and train points by riding various lines. And maybe it isn’t so silly because I’m obsessed with it. I’m in 4th place! I’m taking all these losers down!! I wish there was a way to “reserve” a ride and let the drivers know how many people might be at each stop. But that would mean investing more in the public app. (a reserve system could use reliable riders to amplify system delay notifications— and have fun games) https://cdn.masto.host/sauropodswin/media_attachments/files/111/148/205/870/413/047/original/f82af05c0cc3cec4.png
I think “Snappy Exorcism” is cheating! Their score increases much too regularly. Specifically? I think they are a bus driver. And it’s not fair for drivers to play. How could I keep up with that! I’m lodging a complaint. This is very important.
@134318c2 From my limited experience of travelling down this way, On Demand buses - as in what you were saying, you tell them you'll catch the bus and it will stop at your stop - seem to be very common in the south of France. It's a good system. (Might be common in all of France, I just don't know, I only have experience of the south.)
