 wow, that looks restaurant quality 
 It was.  Beer batter.  So simple, flour salt pepper a little baking soda.  Dusted chunks of cod, back in the fridge, got the tallow to 350-360f and then poured the beer into the flour stir, dunk, fry.  Worked out great. I get my tallow from fatworks.com 
 Hell yeah, add that to zap.cooking so I can make it one day  
 I'll check that out.
