@d2b6eb7e @d0da7ff5 Well, basically it's part of nowadays world you simply can't avoid it but the proper approach is (IMHO) to build a modular way of implementing it. „For that reason, our approach to AI is built on flexibility, choice and especially transparency“ states #Nextcloud. I don't like that AI-driven stuff either but we should deal with the pro and cons anyway - and as long I can choose whether to activate some modules in my instance or not, I'm (personally) fine with it.

If Nextcloud was build more modular, there would be nothing to complain about. 😉

@d2b6eb7e @d0da7ff5 No issues here - each app-/feature I need and use can be installed and used (and removed!) without any hassle besides the natural file-sharing aspect 😉 !

Last time I checked Nextcloud a couple of month ago, there was still so much Stuff implemented in there I didn't need but couldn't get rid of.
I only want an easy to use Platform under my own control, where I can save all my Files and share them easily with other if needed.
No need for a Calendar or else.

@d2b6eb7e @d0da7ff5 Maybe you should give it another try, install it by yourself and skip the recommended apps at the initial setup? It's basically still a file-sharing solution but can end up in a full collaboration suite depending on your personal needs! 😄
