You can pay 10£ and be get it done automatically.

That said, you need an accountant once you are incorporated, and I'd say it is easilly £1,000 per year.

If you don't break 50k to 80k revenue a year, you better loose few tousands pounds in revenue rathen than incorporate than loose that in profit.

If the project is a success we're hoping to visit the major tournaments as a trade stand so you might be able to get a pitch that way in the future.” 

 @0e241662 living in the Netherlands, I doubt anything he qualifies as 'major' will be held here. Sad times, RIP my idea.

with what yesyes said the whole vat scheme in the UK sounds crooked or at least fucked up AF - I've been a freelance author for 13 years and have done my VAT as they sing 'all by myself' without ever needing an accountant to safeguard myself from anything
