I am using the Nostur app on iPhone if that’s what you mean 😅 so out of my depth of understanding at the moment, it’s all new to me ❤️

Nostur is a different iOS app than Damus. Name isn’t super different so it’s hard to tell.

So only some clients will support editing. I think Amethyst does, but I’m not sure and not aware of any others. But even if you do edit, some relays might not comply with the edit request. I’ve had to become okay with my typos 😂 Welcome to Nostr! Can’t wait to see more of your posts!
You are right, edit currently is practically inexistent, there are some proposal under consideration, but I doubt we will see one widely applied. Small technical note: it is the client that may not be compliant, not the relays. The latter merely push events without touching them.
Thanks for the clarification about relays! I had thought people setting up relays could set what kind of actions they could take. I’m not technical 😂
FYI I don’t know if any apps have “edit” yet on iOS but if you need the option to “Delete” you can do that in the Nos app. https://m.primal.net/IdRy.jpg
No edits, no deletes. We do this live, just like life itself.

You could also download Primal and easily set up a lightning wallet with that because the wallet is integrated into the app.

If you just want something easy you can make an account at https://strike.me and that will give you a quick and easy lightning wallet that you can add to your profile settings for most apps. There are actually a lot of different wallets, but that seems to be an easy option if you are not familiar with Bitcoin or lightning network
