@120acc36 I didn’t like the way the gold plated ones felt when I pulled them through the fabric, but I’m wondering if I somehow got a bad batch. Do you find the gold plated ones have a different feel or catchy thread differently? 

 @45be9337 I haven't found that problem with gold plated ones, but the only ones I've tried is John James, and they've been really good.
