NO. they must live in constant fear the same as how they have whistleblowers living in fear.

our biggest mistake was accepting the idea that nobody in corporations, banks or government is responsible for the consequences of their actions.

we get lied into a war and the only "punishment" the liar faces is possibly not getting re-elected, in which case he will simply get a cushy job teaching at Harvard instead.
Dunno, I felt that having them starve on that raft tempted to eat each other for survival to be a pretty good idea.
i remember being on a forum where people were pointing out all of the lies and broken promises of a sitting president and the other side was like "but the previous president from the other party lied even more and broke even more promises so it is all good"

ONE LIE = DEATH

end of story
if you think this is too harsh - don't run for office.

it is easy.
Great premise for a dystopian novel. Quick question, who checks who is lying? The Liestapo?
there is no argument that we were lied into war in Iraq. everybody knows this. we just somehow accept that this is OK, because we are taught in school that our job is to vote and do nothing else.

who lied specifically ? doesn't matter. KILL THEM ALL.

half of 9-11 commission has resigned refusing to put their names on a document that was pure bullshit. the ones who resigned get to live.
once again, if you are too stupid to know the reasons you are giving people for going into a war are false then don't become a politician - simple.

when you accept a position of leadership you must also accept with it the responsibility for your mistakes - whether they were hones mistakes or lies - doesn't really matter.

if you take a nation to war that was completely unnecessary - you deserve to die. PERIOD.
My question remains. Who gets to decide who dies?
i already answered - it doesn't matter. the point is they should die. how or when or who is irrelevant.

there actually is a dystopian novel ( i don't know the name ) where in a future society anybody can press a button that kills the president if they aren't happy with him. life expectancy of president is about 1 day.

it may not be a perfect system - but it's better than what we have now.
 rights are for people.

GOVERNMENT HAS NO RIGHTS.

this is what you need to get through your head.
I don’t want government, I want the right to govern myself. My community faces problems and has needs. I just want to focus on those.

One of them is how do we get rid of parasites? Not sure I want to kill them all.
Sounds awful. Just of a different kind of awful. The dangers of binary thinking I guess.

Your disgust is healthy. Extremely healthy.
