Hey, I tried messaging you but I probably did it wrong 😅 I paid for a relay but I haven't decided how I want to set it up yet so it's just parked for a bit. Is it going to send me a reminder when it comes due or do I need to keep track of that?

Hi Dawn! Thanks for letting me know, this is valuable feedback.. how did you attempt contact? This will help me refine the process as I'm still working on making support channels intuitive, and my DMs may also be broken, but nostr is a little broken right now in a lot of aspects so I'm not surprised if it didn't work like I expect. As for the relay, I took a look at your settings and saw that you attempted to make it a paid relay but it was still open (optional pay). I think this is a bug on my end or just UX problem. So it should be all good now, this is a good way to park it is make it paid. I will generally send out a reminder from the relaytools support account, or from my own account if I notice the relay is past due, and you can see your balance and topup at relay.tools/invoices

Hey thanks, i just sent a gw dm via amethyst. I was aware it might not reach you. Along with broken stuff, I'm a trial/error person so it could easily be my relay setup too. Thanks for fixing that. I did think it was set to paid, for parking reasons. I teied to make everything strict for the time being. And thank you, I'll check in on it occasionally ( aka tomorrow) while you smooth things out as far as comms go, but if you should notice I have lapsed, please feel free to let me know. I do have intentions of putting it to use eventually.

Ya no worries! Thanks for reaching out. You don't necessarily have to follow that account, it could get spammy. Just wanted you to know who the account is if it pings you via regular nostr in the future.
