TSA facial ID: you see them everywhere now and imo, it's best to opt out, but not because the tech itself is bad but rather because there's no trust in the claims that data gets purged and that it's encrypted. It's pretty common to expect these databases to get hacked over time, linking biometrics to the face/fingerprints, etc. Given all this, I wonder if there's anyone in the wild working on decentralized system that brings the efficiency of biometrics but without the risks of centralization?
