I guess this also depends on the number of orders and traffic to the store. it should be fine for a smaller store, but not a great starting base if growth is in mind.
having worked with WordPress since 2007 (and current employment is daily work with WordPress), I would recommend Shopify or other specific eComm platform that was initially built specifically for an online store.
WooCommerce uses the same ID system as posts for handling orders. if you need to migrate or restore the site, while still accepting orders, attempting to merge those new orders is an absolute headache.
not to mention, just the overall sluggishness of WordPress in general and it's susceptibility to vulnerabilities puts the store at risk.
WP was never designed to support eComm and WooCommerce is a poorly stitched together implementation imo.
it has come a long way and gotten better over the years, but it still pales in comparison to an offering that was purpose built for eComm.
