 @114531fa it's ironic that crypto has a reputation for anonymous use considering the whole point of most cryptos is a public ledger that records every transaction for everyone to see

 @70487a67 most people just assume bitcoin is "encrypted" so it must be private, then they get on the BTC maxi train and ignorantly roll down the tracks to dystopia with their coins held on centralized KYC exchanges not realizing that Monero actually is what they think BTC is.
