 @4793303f I have a day off coming out of my annual holiday allowance. I realise this may be an alien concept to Americans. I take this day off every year.

 @d4b81373 some places work their employees like dogs for sure.  I'm lucky, the place I work has "unlimited" paid time off, they don't raise an eyebrow until you go over 5 weeks.  Stupidly, not everybody takes as much as they are eligible for -- me, I'm all about finding out what I can get away with before they "counsel" me.  Enjoy your pub day, tip one back for me!
