I disagree that Trump has no principles, but you yourself implied that Ron Paul would have been a more capable leader than Trump (and I agree).
Logically, that means there ARE better and worse alternatives, even if the system isn't perfect (far from it).
That was all I was pointing out! With all its faults, there IS a difference between a Ron Paul and a Joe Biden, because people are people and people are difference.
Even a staunch individualist must be able to appreciate and recognize great leadership and vision. Rallying behind such a character does not deny individualism and taking responsibility for our life, it becomes easier for any one of us to do that if we all push in the same direction, because there is strength in numbers.
The truth of that is undeniable, although I kinda prefer that it wasn't (maybe you are the same), since I like doing my own thing.
But look at us (nostr/bitcoin etc), that is exactly what brought us all here. We were doing our own thing, reached our own conclusions and understanding, and then it turned out there were millions of others who ended up in the same place.
And we banded together, because alone we're easy to pick off one by one, as a group we can push back effectively.
It is what it is..
Ok I will grant he is principled in one aspect. He sure stands firm that the Warp Speed bioweapon has saved lives and that they are still a medical miracle and that he, and only he, deserves credit. So yea, he has one stance that he has never changed. Unfortunately it is a stance in something that is killing people and destroying health of those who havent died yet. Donnie Warp Speed for the win🙄
