Just send me cash and I'll send you bitcoins
KYC exchanges are easiest but not recommended by maxis. In Canada, I use #shakepay and earn sats for every retail purchase and bill payment. When I stack an amount of sats that is within my comfort level, I send to cold storage and Hodl. Hodlhodl.com is a good place to check for non-KYC Bitcoin, better for large amounts and it is more P2P based. Whatever you do, just be extra cautious double and triple check your addresses and always DYOR. Hopefully this helps you out! PV🤙
Yeah, I lost some bitcoins recently because I was too stupid to double check... Thanks a lot, why would you recommend non-kyc bitcoin? If I got you right, you are getting cashback in sats using shakepay, isn't it KYC?
KYC bitcoin can be tracked. So if you send BTC to an unpopular person or cause, the govt could figure it out who you are by the KYC meta-data attached to your active wallet, track your exchanges, and punish you for it. Non-KYC BTC means no one knows you have it, so when you spend it, no one knows. Im not too picky about where my sats come from. They don't stay in just one wallet for very long and eventually all sats get to sent to the #Bitbox02 for safe keeping. Running your own node and verify every transaction. DON'T TRUST. VERIFY. Work in small amounts and don't stack more than I can afford to lose. Staying solvent is everything above all else.
Okay bitbox is a Hardware Wallet I guess to keep your funds offline Wether they are kyc or non-kyc, right?
Yes I hold the 24 words (seed phrase) thats required to access the block addresses stored within. Self custody is the only way to ensure your sats can't be confiscated by the government or anyone else for that matter. Not your keys not your coin.
Thx Duke! I want to buy some before the "ETF" thing!
Good luck and welcome down the rabbit hole. Its never ending... 😎🤙 #STUDYBITCOIN https://www.studybitcoin.org/
