Saying "Europe is a totalitarian state" is a bit over the top imo, there are still plenty of options that offer Lightning. 

But I do agree Kraken has gone from great to a trash exchange. Before removing Lightning they changed partner in Germany which basically meant redoing an even crazier KYC to be able to continue trading.

I tried to delete my account but they just ignored the request so right now it's just living there, like a ghost. 

 I reaffirm myself, Europe is a totalitarian state.

- Forced vaccination in many countries.
- Restriction of freedoms
- Restriction of freedom of expression
- Attempt after attempt to override encryption and undermine privacy.
- Abusive taxation

And so on and so forth. 

 And that is only scratching the surface, it is also getting worse by the day. 

 Isn't any CEX eventually becomes what you call trash exchange? The root cause is centralization and vulnerability to regulation requirements. 

 Not necessarily but I guess there are shades of trashiness.  @strike is a good example.
