 You have to enable gesture navigation  in your phone settings 

 I have gesture navigation but it fades rather than card style like yours 

 Oh yeah I see it uses a fade animation while switching back between screens in the bottom bar, do you get it also while coming back from a post? 

 I turned "Remove animations" back on in Android settings and hours later it starts doing the card thing. Not really sure what's going on.
