I hear stories from my missus about her single friends. They all have their lists which yeah, standards are fine. But these girls don’t have “standards”, they have pre-requisites which when strung together mean their dating pool would be ~5 men on the entire planet and they don’t understand how unrealistic what they want is.

Dating has become gamified where men try to extract as much sex for as little cost and commitment as possible, and women try to extract as much resources and status out of men for as little sex as possible. 

The whole scene is absurd and seems to be getting progressively worse, for both sexes.
