 Red, white & blue.

Guelder Rose (Viburnum opulus) berries against autumnal clouds.

One of my favourite #NativePlants, it has glorious #WildFlowers, jewel like berries and leaves with “seasonal interest” (or pretty colours). Makes a great specimen shrub, can be pruned easily, or form part of a mixed native windbreak hedge.

@27e67f00 I planted three small bare-root Guelder Roses last winter. They were dirt cheap in that condition. They all grew leaves over the summer, so looking forward to seeing what they do next year.
