 @Peter @Mongoose @09085299 you try drilling when you’re on your back under a low car when you don’t do it often, I can’t blame there
 It's easy as can be. You just keep the drill squared, and viola! If a newb is going to handle a powertool for the first time ever, you tell them to hold it at a right angle to the surface being drilled. Same concept applies to hammering nails.
 @Peter @Mongoose @09085299 doesn’t really apply to unsupported sheet(s) of iron or steel

Source: I’m pretty handy and I royally fucked up drilling holes in mason jar lids a few weeks ago
 Cylinders are strudyAF. And Mason jar lids are infinitely more flexible (until they're sealed)
 @Peter @6715e34f @Mongoose but a muffler is kinda round
and i really wouldn't give a shit about accuracy if i was doing that to a muffler
in fact i'd probably get out the 5' long 3/8" flex bit so i didn't have to get underneath
 Nice. I only have a 2' flex bit. My brain says there's something inherently wrong with metals that flex, but I love them anyways.
