 Fellow physicians and providers:

Over time, the only way for you and your practice to provide higher quality services at ever-cheaper prices for your patients is to put your practice on a #Bitcoin standard.

The longer you wait to do this, the further you and your practice/business will fall behind.
True that. I’m trying to orange pill my family bakery. We are 5th generation and say we are custodians for the next generation, but without bitcoin built in what exactly will we be heading to the next gen.
I wish my doctor did this
 Someday, all will do this.
i did in 2016 for my first practice for about a year. my next practice probably will.
a little early for the Dr's i know but one can look forward the way our eyes point lol
medical fam with drs to clarify Dr.
Having spent the past few years working alongside healthcare providers, couldn't help but think this when seeing how smaller locations in our rural areas seem so utterly inefficient and struggling to handle patient load. I hope it can be an option sooner than later for both, the patients and providers. 🙏
💯 you will love this chat with @thebitcoinyogi , we brainstormed how Nostr will fit into the future of healthcare as well!

A medical practice is the one service business where inflation cannot be passed on to the payor. Even though our expenses continue to rise (staff wages, rent, IT) we cannot simply charge more and recoup those costs like every other business.

We are hamstrung by Medicare and insurer contracts that have no interest on reimbursement keeping up with inflation (despite increasing premiums on patients)

I agree that a bitcoin standard can be a solution. Would love to opt out of all insurances and have patients pay a much lower fee in bitcoin than their deductible. A fee that is reasonable to both our practice and the patient. Unfortunately, that seems decades away at the moment.

I’ve long thought there is a massive opportunity for a startup to generate a national bitcoin health network where practices could opt in and payments and billing could be somewhat standardized as a localized fee schedule.

Your own or your family’s health may be one of the few instances where a pleb would willingly choose to part with a small portion of their bitcoin.

Always appreciate your content Dr. Jeff. Not sure if you’re back practicing, but keep up the strong work.
Yes 🙌🏽 this is the way ⚡️ happy to chat with any docs you know to help them understand and integrate a #bitcoin strategy
