You're good. Florida is built for that level of storm. Cat 4... You should start paying attention and taking precautions to secure things. Cat 5... You should evacuate.
Being inland on a Cat 3... Light a cigar and watch the storm. When the you see the first transformer blow up, it's time to go inside.
I like this sentiment. Maybe I need to crack open @BenJustman 's satoshi reserve when the eye is over my house. Could be a good photo op. My house is a new build and Ive got solar/batteries. If I didn't have a young kid I wouldnt be worried but its my first big storm since becoming a dad.
probs best to not be drunk if the storm is bad and you need to be alert, but that'd also be a pretty damn cool reason to pop that bottle!
