He's not very active on social media at all these days mostly just PR stuff and PC 2.0 related stuff. The PC 2.0 crew is very pro Activity Pub and IRC but some of us are over here checking it out.
So, what is the deal with activity pub? I know nothing about it. Castapod actually says it makes some activity pub stuff for me, I have no idea what that means.
Activity Pub, The FediVersre and Mastdon are all the same thing. I'm not sure how to best describe it but its similar to Discord i guess. NostrBros hate it since who ever host the instance can ban you or just shut it down but I actually prefer it to Nostr because that's where my No Agenda and PC 2.0 friends are and the PC 2.0 people you have interacted with on here started using Nostr recently to see what Its all about. Basically anyone who helped you go LIT last week. PC 2.0 has its own instance and all of the interactions you had with StevenB last week were all from his podcastindex account on Mastodon. There is a Mostr bridge that connects Mastodon and Nostr so we can cross communicate with each other. I try to keep the Mastodon stuff on Mastodon and the Nostr stuff on Nostr since the bridge can have issues sometimes but tagging people across the bridge is just easier sometimes. I dont think he likes nostr all that much because people here were arguing with him to move podcasting 2.0 to nostr instead of rss and he disagreed
idk how much Nostr will be integrated into PC 2.0 but Oscar at Fountain seems to be onboard with it so he can test the waters. PC 2.0 is fairly anti Nostr and to be honest I only started using it again because some of my PC 2.0 peeps also started using it to see how we could incorporate it. Its growing on me but it took a long time.
