This kind of note does not help nostr. It makes people feel used like an object for the betterment of some protocol goal. Everyone is doing great. People will talk about what they want to talk about and cannot be forced to do otherwise. If you want content, make it easier for prolific content creators to exist and thrive here.
Devs like YakiHonne are making long-form articles easier to create and promote which will encourage creators to make nostr their home. Nostr is a work in progress, and the more we can do to encourage and lift people up, the better it will be for us all. I'm not really sure what the point is of pointing out correlations between some external factor and levels of engagement, but it doesn't move the ball forward. Positivity and encouragement are the way to growth.
Idk about OP, but I don't want content FROM content creators - I want content ABOUT content creators. I want to live through world war 3 and hear about content creators dying brutal deaths while people like me post about how they deserve it for shit like failing to get nostr off the ground.
It’s not how it works. A small percentage of users is responsible for bulk of the content. Most users are passive consumers. The 2nd group after that is fairly small. And most of the content comes from content creators (small group of people relatively speaking). What you are asking for is to change human nature. And it’s not going to happen.
Why are you acting like your imagination is more valuable than a stranger's actual knowledge? Stop making shit up if you can't tell the difference between shit you made up and actual facts.
We dont need to recreate the leader/follower dynamic of Twitter to be successful. Reddit and even Facebook worked great as just a way to discuss topics or keep up with friends. Twitter is a weird-ass anomaly. Even the term "follower" has weird culty undertones to it.
