 He has been a cautionary tale in idolatry. I loved him on SNL, re #bitcoin, his engineering genius. Now, I am reminded of “Take care who you place upon a pedestal, because their marble statue may topple and crush you to bits, and if it doesn’t it will surely block your sun.”

 That was not why Elon bought twitter. It’s because the previous management were engaging in blatant, broad scale censorship of the regime’s political enemies, in coordination with the FBI.

Twitter today does not engage in the same election interference nor partisan moderation practices. Elon has every right to have his own political opinions.

 The only thing that matters in regard of twitter is if the opposing views get censored or not. 

 It wasn't that the management was too political, it was that they suppressed everyone who didn't agree with them.  Big difference wouldn't you say?

The previous management actively blocked politically dissenting views on a number of benign topics. Even banned Trump for nothing but disliking him.

Elon doesn't do that afaik, and he's just as entitled to have an opinion on anything as you are.
